Southerly Solids Handling Improvements RFP
Work includes improvements to the dissolved air flotation unit process installation of a new liquid sludge receiving station adjacent to the existing sludge storage tanks (ssts), replacement of piping, valves, vault demolition, and other appurtenances related to two easterly sludge force main vaults, replacement of the existing waste heat boiler (whb) dry ash pneumatic conveyance system with slurry system, replacement of existing scrubber drain header, and installation of new backup scrubber drain header, cleaning of sludge, grit, and debris from four (4) of the existing ssts, replacement of exhaust fans in four (4) ssts.
