Description: Installation (replacement) of two (2) 1000 HP motors at the water treatment plant reservoir pump station. Winning bidder must provide, install and laser-align the motors. Installation will include providing a crane, removing and replacing the pump house roof, existing motor removal and transport to on-site storage location, providing provisions for vibration detectors 90 degrees apart with ¼-28 UNF tapped hole to mount our sensors, providing (and laser aligning shafts) a new coupling for each unit, making all electrical disconnections and reconnections, installing a vibration system (and ensuring proper operation), performing vibration analysis before and after new motor installation, and all other tasks, requirements, and specifications outlined in the contract documents.
