Town of Somers Town Board Regular Meeting
The board meeting focused on a public hearing regarding the potential repeal of a prohibition on left turns from Level Street onto Dunhill Drive. Local residents provided testimony regarding traffic safety concerns, including blind spots and speeding, while presenting a petition to modify the restriction to either 'residents only' or 'no through traffic'. The board decided to table the discussion until the following month to coordinate with town departments and finalize the appropriate legal language for the potential traffic regulation modification.
