Washington State School for the Blind IT Strategic Plan 2024-2026
The IT Strategic Plan for the Washington State School for the Blind outlines key efforts for its skilled IT staff and services over the next three years, aligning with WSSB's overarching goals and Washington's Enterprise Technology Strategic Plan. The plan focuses on three main pillars: identifying statewide needs for blind and low vision services by offering IT services that deliver business value, data-driven improvements, and quality customer experience while providing accessible data; expanding awareness and access to services through website maintenance and social media networking; and expanding capacity to improve services for all students by providing elevated tech support, ensuring staff technological readiness, developing learning opportunities, and supporting digital accessibility. The overarching vision is to ensure every blind and low vision student in Washington receives the necessary support and services for success.
